2019 NPI Annual Conference – “the Future is Ours” – Prepare to be informed

The 2019 NPI Annual Conference will close with a “can’t miss” session on a challenging topic – modern slavery and the procurement professional’s ability to combat it. Presenter Brian Iselin joins us from www.slavefreetrade.org in Geneva, Switzerland, to address the role of public procurement in the fight against modern day slavery.

The scourge of modern slavery stains us all. As buyers of goods and services, we all inadvertently prop up the global trade in people. That is, in large part, because our buying is unconditional, or not conditioned on ‘do no harm’. Every time we buy something, we are potentially investing in modern slavery. That changes when we start asking the right questions. Procurement without modern slavery is now possible. Swiss NGO, slavefreetrade, makes that possible and real for sourcing and procurement professionals. Attendees will learn how through Brian’s presentation and the resources provided.

Join us in Las Vegas, October 6 – 9, and prepare to be informed in ways that will make a difference in the world around us. https://npiconnection.org/

2019 NPI Annual Conference – “The Future is Ours” – Prepare to be inspired!

The keynote address for the 2019 NPI Annual Conference will motivate and inspire. Presenter Ross Bernstein is the best-selling author of nearly 50 books, and is an award-winning hall of fame peak-performance speaker. Ross has keynoted conferences for Fortune 500 companies on ALL SEVEN continents and his books have been featured on thousands of television and radio programs including CNN, FOX News, “CBS This Morning,” MSNBC, Bloomberg and ESPN, as well as in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today.

There are reasons certain teams win consistently, whereas others come up short… and Ross explains why. Inspired by the “Good to Great” concept of how the best organizations are able to separate themselves from the rest of the pack through dynamic leadership, by creating a culture of excellence, by developing deeper relationships, and by giving extraordinary customer service — Ross’ program is all about winning… with integrity.

Ross’ signature keynote, “The Champion’s Code,” is based on more than six years of research that resulted in two critically acclaimed series of sports-business books. He examines how and why certain teams win world championships and will share how the same metrics and characteristics that are common among champions in sports are also common among peak performers in business.

Join us in Las Vegas, October 6 – 9, and prepare to lead your team to its next big win, with integrity!
