2020 Honorary Members – Call for Nominations

Each year, extraordinary contributors to the public procurement profession retire from service. Honorary Membership in NPI is just one way we can pay tribute to our retiring peers. This is your chance to have exceptional contributions recognized through a nomination for Honorary Membership in NPI!
Members of NPI:
– Pursue the next level of excellence
– Promote organizational achievement and leadership
– Effect change in the public procurement profession
– Network on a personal level with successful leaders from across North America
– Enhance their knowledge and skills at the Annual Conference
– Prove to their leadership, governing body and the public that they exceed the highest        standards by pursuing the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® Award
Honorary Members of NPI:
– Support NPI by holding office or contributing to teams
– Contribute to the ongoing advancement of their peers through education or mentoring
– Make other significant contributions to NPI and the public procurement profession
Please submit a nomination for any individual (including yourself!) who has retired or will be retired before December 31, 2020 and has made extraordinary contributions to the public procurement profession via email to:

Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Nominators will be emailed a questionnaire to complete to allow the Nominations Committee to consider the candidate for Honorary Membership. A proposed slate of Honorary Members will be presented for a formal vote conducted in an online format. The Nominating Committee anticipates announcing the results on or before October 12, 2020.
